7♦️/5♠️

Today on the 7♦️ in Gemini, we find the Planetary Ruling Card by counting to the Mercury card in the Waking Spread which is the 5♠️. This reading is primarily about the 7♦️ which is the Birth Card of the following dates:  1/20, 2/18, 3/16, 4/14, 5/12, 6/10, 7/8, 8/6, 9/4, and 10/2.

The 7♦️ balances desires. When desires are out of balance, one is unhappy even though one is getting desires fulfilled. The more you seek a desire when out of balance, the more you suffer.

Spiritual teachers regularly instruct everyone to cultivate balanced values and desires in order to promote a joyous life. Everyone struggles with balanced desires and values, but you feel the conflict of imbalanced desires more acutely than others. Is any desire or passion worth endless suffering?

You get indications that you are off the beam of balanced living, when others express dismay or object to statements, behaviors, or positions that you take. You have a choice to respond with appreciation for others’ opinions or you may dismiss or reject their points of view. Pay attention to constructive criticism; and if you accept some of the observations that others provide, you have full ability to address any issues that contribute to imbalances of values and desires.

You may wonder how you go about making changes to desires. The cards recommend a clean break for the sake of clean living. It is possible you are in a bad relationship or that you have an addiction either of which creates and/or contributes difficulty and hardship into your life. If the relationship, (whether a person, behavior, or substance), is essential; then your feelings about the relationship must radically change. And you have the capacity to allow constructive changes and a makeover in this area. The suffering will then give way to joyous living.

Leave immediate circumstances briefly now and then to check out from your current life and check in to your most essential and inner self. Desires overwhelm when escape is scripted to current patterns. Be unpredictable in daily life as a way of self-study. Know thyself.
