Today on the Seven of Diamonds in Cancer, we find the Planetary Ruling Card by counting to the Moon card in the Waking Spread which is the Seven of Hearts. This reading is primarily about the 7♦️ which is the Birth Card of the following dates: 1/20, 2/18, 3/16, 4/14, 5/12, 6/10, 7/8, 8/6, 9/4, and 10/2.
The 7♦️ balances values. One is learning to enjoy what life has to offer, and one is learning to bring value to others so that others also have the opportunity to enjoy life. One learns that the suffering of others invades one’s own personal perception of an experience. For example, it is less delicious to experience a fabulous luxury buffet when others are starving nearby. So, one may lessen luxurious experiences to generate balance with others in need. Alternately, one may enable those in need to receive assistance. Either method helps create balance of enjoyment.
With every pleasure, there will be a consequent loss. Everyone suffers as the result of pleasure, but this card experiences pleasure more acutely than others; so one also feels loss more acutely. A major aspect of maturation is learning to accommodate loss as a natural part of life.
One senses and also knows from experience that all pleasures including relationships will eventually end, and one is challenged to maintain existing relationships rather than end them purposefully to spare oneself the pain of natural loss. To the extent one is willing to enjoy relationships and patiently experience them for the natural duration, one is rewarded with peace and tranquility.
One comes into this life with a conscious mind and a subconscious mind. These are usually conceptualized as the Waking State and the Dreaming State, but they actually blend all of the time and most especially for Cancers. In the subconscious mind of the 7♥️ and particularly for those born 7/8 one needs to accept emotional boundaries of self and others without manipulation.
In early life and pervading one’s conscious thinking; discomfort can often be addressed by looking around a corner or across a room. One is attracted in adolescence and young adulthood by romantic love and financial security for which one is ready to work. One gets needs met, one generates much energy, and one may have conflict when describing plans one has set; one is creative, but one insists on specific methods that often irritate or offend others. In mid-life and when leading a life balancing the material and spiritual, one unshackles self from unhealthy relationships and outworn behaviors and attitudes. As one matures through obstacles, delays, and struggles; building a foundation for oneself in the areas of values and overall security is needed in order for love relationships to prosper. As one ages and becomes aware of inconsistencies between opinions and experiences, values and relationships sometimes coordinate and sometimes conflict. In old age and as one retires to contemplate, pray, and meditate; values are mastered and accepted.
A fact of life is that all pleasure comes to an end.
