There are two broad experiences in life, and they consist of pleasure and pain. Desire that is fulfilled is pleasing, while unfulfilled desires are painful or uncomfortable. When one is hungry to fulfill desires after a period of denial, there is a tendency to over-indulge, which brings on discomfort. And this is a pattern. One learns to moderate fulfillment of desires so that over-indulgence becomes less of an issue. 

Cancer 7♦️ agressively pursues desires while being mindful of the need to be sensitive to feelings, and thus one is able to maintain relationships over long periods of time which provide continuity and support.
